Protein Models as tools for STEM Education
We've known college students enjoy using protein models as tools for STEM Education and learn equally well from both computer-aided molecular visualization software as they do physical models. Could the same apply to grade-school children?
Protein Description This cytotoxic drug utilizes Molecular Templates an innovative Engineered Toxic Bodies (ETBs) drug delivery platform to trigger cell death. MT-3724 is being developed for the treatment of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and harnesses the immunotherapy power of antibody receptor-specific targeting combined, a bacterial process for cell invasion that infects cancer cells with ribosomal inhibitors that […]
Wired Magazine-The First Protein Action Figure Toy
Creating the First Protein Action Figure Toy Popularizing science lies at the heart of what we do at Biologic Models. Turning protein data into educational experiences connects people to science in new ways that creating lasting memories. It was exciting early on in our creative process to have come to the attention of Wired. […]
Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor

PIP4K II Alpha and Beta
Recently, Cornell University commissioned us to create 3D printed models of PIP4K II Alpha and Beta for the purpose of demonstrating PIP4K dimerization.
Mechanism of Insulin Action
Insulin is a small 51 residue hormone synthesized and secreted by ß cells in the pancreas. Insulin is central to lowering blood glucose and maintaining metabolic function. Following meals, the pancreas sends out insulin into the blood stream to signal the body that glucose is ready for uptake by glucose transporters after binding to the insulin receptor.
